Frequently Asked Questions

Do you help individuals and families?

Yes, our focus is primarily on families, but we assist everyone!

Do you have a physical address I can come to?

Yes, but we prefer to come to you. We know it can be difficult for you to travel to us, and we can easily come to if you are in the Denver Metro area.  If that is not possible, we can virtually meet as well.  We have forms available through email or docu-sign as well to get you going with assistance.

Do you provide utility assistance?

We partner with Energy Outreach Colorado and several other non-profits in the 4 -state area: Colorado, Eastern Montana, Utah andWyoming,  to provide assistance.  We only provide water assistance for the City of Aurora in the Denver Metro area.  Call us to find out if we can help in your area.  Please have a copy of your utility bill, your name available and photo identification to send us.

Do you have housing?

We do not have our own housing; however, we have emergency and transitional shelters, safe outdoor space, rent and deposit assistance, and sometimes grant provided motel vouchers if funding is available.  Please have your vital documents available as this is the first step in getting housed.

Do you repair cars or provide gas vouchers?

Not currently. There are discounted auto repair shops we can refer you to.  Also, we can provide RTD bus passes in emergencies.
