Join The Salvation Army for floral design, a highly anticipated silent auction, fabulous food, and an afterparty hosted by Adam Swig’s Value Culture at The Salvation Army’s 20th Annual Flower Power Gala. The silent auction will feature designer handbags and jewelry, exclusive vacation packages, and local experiences from popular Bay Area restaurants, wineries, venues, and shops.

In its 20th year, the Flower Power Gala is raising funds for The Salvation Army’s innovative homeless initiative, The Way Out, which coordinates the Army’s San Francisco programs into a Recovery System of Care (RSC). Services include withdrawal management and stabilization, residential drug treatment, recovery-focused transitional housing, extended transitional living, career development, and an alumni support network. Through a Treatment on Demand model, our RSC empowers participants to overcome addiction and transform their lives. The Way Out aims to provide real-time access to care, help individuals struggling with addiction achieve abstinence, rediscover their potential, and renew their sense of hope for the future.

For more than 140 years The Salvation Army has faithfully and tirelessly served those who need it most in San Francisco. During the COVID-19 pandemic, The Salvation Army has been on the front lines of an unprecedented health crisis, experiencing more than a 25 percent increase in need. While the San Francisco Bay Area begins to reopen, the need for support remains great as many now struggle with pandemic poverty. The Salvation Army is committed to providing resources and emotional and spiritual support, to the families we serve in San Francisco as we journey through this time of regrowth together.

Thank you for partnering with us in this Flower Power; together we can do the most good.
