Serving Butte Since 1889

Oct 15, 2020 | by Tina Morin

The Butte Salvation Army has been meeting the needs of thousands of good Butte people since 1889 and continuing through today.

We endeavor to reach more and to help more and as William Booth stated, "Do Something".

In order to Do Something, we need volunteers who want to help their neighbor in need and feel the satisfaction of being part of bringing hope to someone who is struggling. We also need funding to continue to meet all of the needs that are presented.  We rely on donations, estate bequests and fund raising efforts throughout the year.

Donations can be mailed to the Butte Salvation Army at 1229 Harrison Avenue, Butte, Montana 59701.

Those interested in making an estate bequest can obtain information on how to make an estate bequest by calling 406-782-7863.

Anyone interested in volunteering in our Thrift Store or on any of our other projects can also call 406-782-7863.

Please help the most vulnerable in our beautiful community, Butte, Montana.

While women weep, as they do now, I'll fight.

While little children go hungry, as they do now, I'll fight.

While men go to prison, in and out, as they do now, I'll fight.

While there is a drunkard left,

While there is a poor lost girl upon the streets,

While there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I'll fight-

I'll fight to the very end!

- William Booth

Butte Salvation Army will also fight to the very end to help those in need and show God's love to them.
