Layla Kasha is the Chief Marketing Officer at Grocery Outlet, a high-growth, extreme value retailer of quality, name-brand consumables and fresh products sold through a network of independently operated stores. In her role, Kasha oversees the company’s overall brand strategy and communications across more than 400 stores nationally.
Prior to joining Grocery Outlet in 2017, Kasha served as the Director of Marketing and Advertising for Save Mart Supermarkets, overseeing program development and multichannel campaign integration. She has also held key leadership roles at Sprouts Farmers Markets and Cold Stone Creamery.
With 20 years of experience, Kasha has led four major rebrands and has played a pivotal role in two initial public offerings, including Grocery Outlet’s transition from a private company to a publicly traded company, when it joined Nasdaq in 2019. She also serves on the Forbes Communication Council and is on the board at the Stanislaus Family Justice Center and the Salvation Army USA Western Territory Board.
Kasha currently resides in Modesto, Calf., with her wonderful husband, Ryan.
