Sweet Prayers spreads love through baked goods

Sweet Prayers: Massage Parlors and Sex Trafficking Ministry from Share Change on Vimeo.

Sweet Prayers is a Salvation Army ministry that is designed to serve the employees working in illicit massage businesses. It’s a simple concept: team members bake cookies and pray for the employees working in the massage parlors and then deliver the baked goods in person. This helps our teams build relationships that hopefully lead to the employees’ rescue if they’re working against their will and cannot find a way out on their own. We also pray that it leads to them knowing that they’re loved by us and by God. It was started by one group and has now spread to seven teams in The Salvation Army across the Western US States.
