In Bangladesh, orphans and children with disabilities lack access to education and protective care.
Education plays an essential role in shaping children’s future, but in Bangladesh, children with special needs have limited access to suitable education. Girls face their own barriers to education as they are threatened by child marriage, sexual exploitation and child labor.
The Integrated Children’s Center eliminates barriers to education and challenges stigmas by offering:
- a boarding school for children with visual impairments
- a home for orphaned and at-risk girls
- a primary school open to children from the wider community
As a sponsor, you provide:

WHAT DOES MY $25 A MONTH DO?
Your sponsorship directly meets the critical needs of the children (food, shelter, medical care, education and vocational training) at a Salvation Army center, funding long-term programs and projects which ensure we provide essential services to the children for years to come. Your donation will benefit the center of your choice for as long as they are participating in the child sponsorship program, and will also meet urgent needs at other centers as they arise.
