Salvation Army Filmmakers Partner with TBN on The State of Faith Series
The Salvation Army’s multimedia ministry in the Western US, called Share Change is working with TBN’s The State of Faith to help tell the global story of Christianity. The State of Faith is a multimedia exploration of the history, cultural impact, and significance of Christianity on today’s society.
Each week, The State of Faith will explore how a specific region of the world has been impacted by Christianity, investigate the roots of Christianity in that area, and tell powerful present-day stories.
The Salvation Army’s Share Change team shared previously filmed content with TBN that can be viewed at TheStateOfFaith.com and available on TBN via video on demand (VOD).
Beginning February 4, 2021, the following Salvation Army content will be featured:
Sweet Prayers – outreach program for women ensnared in trafficking in Washington
The Way Home – subsidized apartment community for homeless individuals in California
Created for Freedom – creative arts workshop collaboration with Prison Fellowship in California
Doughnations – micro business which supports community needs in Alaska
New Wheels – transportation support and mentoring ministry in Idaho
As the series moves to other parts of the world, Salvation Army stories from the Marshall Islands and South Africa will also be featured.
Share Change has been making filmed pieces for use in teaching and study, as well as public relations and marketing since 2010.
