What Is Salvation?
Salvation is the gift of new life through Jesus Christ. It’s about being forgiven, restored, and made new – no matter your past or what you’ve been through. God loves you deeply and offers hope, healing, and a fresh start for all.
How Do I Receive Salvation?
It's really this simple, anyone can be saved by inviting Jesus to be the Lord and Savior of one's life.
- Confess or acknowledge you are a sinner in need of God's forgiveness.
- Repent or express your desire to turn away from sin and follow God.
- Believe that Jesus died for sins and rose to life.
- Invite Jesus into you life.
Romans 10:9 – "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
What Is Sin?
Sin is anything in thought, action, or word that is contrary to the will of God. All of us fall short and make mistakes. This is called sin, and it separates us from God.
- Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
- Isaiah 59:2 – “Your sins have separated you from your God…”
What is a Christian?
A Christian is a person who believes in Jesus Christ as their Savior. They believe Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth to live and die for our sins and rose again on the third day. Christians follow the teachings of Jesus in the Bible and try to live according to God’s word and show love to others.
1 John 4:7 – "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God."
A Simple Prayer for Salvation
Pray this prayer ...
“Jesus, I know I need You. I confess that I am a sinner. Thank You for loving me and forgiving me. I want you to be the Lord of my life. Come into my life and make me new. In Jesus Name, Amen."
