Eligibility and Prize
Participants are eligible to win:
The promotion is open to individuals who commit to and fulfill a volunteer shift for Red Kettle locations managed by The Salvation Army Golden State Division during the 2019 Red Kettle Campaign in participating areas. They must be at least 16 years old at the time of entry. Winners may not sell prizes for personal gain. Officers, Employees and those officially affiliated with The Salvation Army and their subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of such are not eligible.
Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in the promotion constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official rules and the decisions of the sponsor which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all requirements set forth within.
Contest Period
The promotion begins on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM (or the first available Kettle shift at participating locations, whichever is soonest) and ends on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 8:00 PM.
How to Enter
Register for one (or more) bell ringing shifts at volunteer.usawest.org and fulfill your shift during the Contest period. Each shift fulfilled will result in one entry (entry forms must be placed in the kettle at the time of ringing). All entries become the property of the sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Prize Drawing
At the close of the contest period, Staff at The Salvation Army Golden State Divisional Headquarters will select potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received from participating locations. Prizes will be awarded in the order of drawing, with the First Prize being drawn first, the Second Prize drawn second and Third Prize drawn third. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The Salvation Army Golden State Division will attempt to notify the potential winners via telephone or email on or around Monday, January 20, 2020. If the potential winners cannot be contacted within five days after the first attempt to contact him/her, an alternate potential winner may be selected in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning eligible entries. The official winner announcement will be made once all prize winners have been confirmed. For questions regarding the competition please contact sf.volunteer@usw.salvationarmy.org.

For the Family Vacation Package - Travel package is non-refundable and subject to availability. Certificates/gift cards cannot be replaced. Hotel may be substituted with equal or similar accommodations. Blackout dates: Feb 12-15, Mar 14-17, Apr 1-2, 15-16, May 26-29, Jun 2-9, 30, Jul 1-8, 19-24, Sep 1-4, Nov 15-18, 29-30, Dec 28-31. A minimum 30 day advance reservation is required. Travel is valid for 12 months from date of issue.
