Fundraising for Good at Walmart!

The Salvation Army is grateful to Walmart for allowing us to conduct the third annual Jingle in July campaign. Every Friday and Saturday in July, Salvation Army officers and volunteers rang bells next to the iconic red kettles to raise funds for The Army’s critical programs and services throughout the state of Alaska. Thank you to all those who supported this effort!

This weekend, The Salvation Army will once again join forces with Walmart to Stuff the Bus for kids in need. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Salvation Army staff will not be allowed to be present at the stores to actually accept the items, but, at most stores, Walmart has generously arranged to have pre-packed backpacks that can be purchased and donated at the checkout counters.

Please consider visiting a Walmart store this weekend, August 7-9, to donate to a child in need of school supplies in your community. You may also donate online toward the Stuff the Bus school supply drive by visiting here.
