2021 Kings Lake Camp Closes Season with Great Attendance and New Improvements

Sep 9, 2021 | by Natalie Clendenin

As Fall quickly approaches, and children are back to school, we'd like to share the wonderful time many of our younger Alaskans experienced at Kings Lake Camp this summer. With 217 attending and 59 accepting Christ, we can only say thank you to our wonderful supporters for the impact they've made on the lives of these children.

The Rasmuson Foundation continues to play a major role in the renovations that have been completed and will be taking place over the next year. We have new roofs on the dining hall and activity center, new paint in many areas, including the boat house, and a complete renovation of bath house #2 is under way.

Thank you again for your support of the residential camping program as it has enabled us to give young people a life changing experience, creating lasting memories and friendships, all while enjoying the beautiful Alaskan summer.
