The Salvation Army begins to register families for Christmas assistance

DENVER — Families who need help buying Christmas gifts for their children or paying for a warm Christmas meal can now sign up for help at six Salvation Army locations in the Denver Metro area.

Low-income families are often forced to choose between presents under the tree and a warm Christmas meal. To ensure they don’t have to make that choice, The Salvation Army is getting ready to distribute more than 22,000 toys and 4,500 boxes of food.
