Dependable Cleaners Donates Coats To Marshall Fire Victims

Jan 5, 2022 | by Tori Jaworski

Denver, CO (January 5, 2022) – The Marshall fire that swept quickly through Boulder County on Dec. 30, 2021, is the most destructive in Colorado history in terms of the number of homes destroyed. Officials have released information that 991 structures were destroyed with another 127 damaged.

In response to the fires, Dependable Cleaners and Coats for Colorado generously donated 2,000 coats to be given to the victims of the Marshall fire. The Salvation Army will coordinate with the State of Colorado through relief and recovery efforts to make sure these coats are distributed to the victims and their families.

“The Salvation Army is thankful for the generosity of community partners like Dependable Cleaners and Coats for Colorado” said Salvation Army Divisional Commander Major Mike Dickinson.  “These coats will help those who have lost so much stay warm through the rest of the winter.”

Long term recovery efforts will be a critical part of The Salvation Army’s mission through the coming weeks and months. Until we are able to further assess the needs of those affected by the fires, we highly encourage those wishing to help to make monetary donations at this time at or text FIRERELIEF to 51555.
