Host An Angel Tree!

November 1, 2021 - December 17, 2021

If you are outside the Denver Area, please contact your local Salvation Army to sign up and participate.

Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas. Unfortunately, many in our community are struggling and demands of everyday life keeps them from having gifts under the Christmas tree. The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program has been fulfilling children’s Christmas wishes since the 1970’s. It ensures that every child can experience the Christmas magic by matching generous donors like you with children in greatest need.

Nearly half of low-income Americans report that they or someone in their household has experienced some sort of income loss. We anticipate a significant increase in our Christmas support this year and Angel Tree partners are essential in ensuring we can meet the need.

Children and Seniors who receive Angel Tree gifts are from families who have applied for Christmas assistance.

  1. The Salvation Army screens each family (participation is need-based) and prepares a list of toys and clothing the children want.

  2. Individuals, companies and groups sign up to participate in the program by adopting Angels or hosting trees.

  3. The Salvation Army staff assigns Angels to each sponsor and will mail you ‘Angel Tags.’ Each tag has information about the ‘Angel’ (child’s first name, gender, age, and gift wish) and is ready to be hung on your Christmas tree.

  4. The fun begins! Sponsors shop for the Angels.

  5. Please make sure the gift is unwrapped as we would like to give the parents the opportunity to do this for their child.

  6. Collect all the gifts from your employees and coordinate a date with us when our drivers can come pick up the toys.

Please fill out this online form if you would like to participate in Angel Tree again this year. The tags will be sent out as soon as possible after we receive your form. From there, we can coordinate a date that works for both parties on when we can pick up the toys from your organization.

Due to COVID-19, companies can opt to receive a spreadsheet of the assigned Angels instead of receiving printed tags. Your company would be able to email the spreadsheet to employees or provide each employee with the information about their Angel. Gifts can then be purchased and dropped off at your assigned drop-off site by your company’s employees. This allows for your continued participation while keeping your staff safe and distanced.

Please fill out this online form if you would like to participate in Angel Tree again this year. The tags will be sent out as soon as possible after we receive your form. From there, be sure to collect all the toys from your employees prior to the pick up/drop off date you select in your form. If you selected a pick up, a Salvation Army driver will pick up the toys on the date you've selected. If you select drop off, we will be ready and expecting you on your selected date.
