The Salvation Army’s Season of Giving for 2020 will look very different this year. The pandemic has altered each of our lives and affected the financial stability of so many individuals and families here in Anchorage. We expect the need for services to increase as much as 155% this holiday season.

The Salvation Army is determined to Rescue Christmas for all who need our help this season and for that, we need you.

We want you to hear how your dollars are impacting the lives of those that we serve here in Anchorage, so please join us for Season of Giving 2020 - ‘From Our Home to Yours: An Evening of Inspiration and Hope’ which will take place virtually on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at 7:00 PM. The event will be hosted by Majors John and Pamilla Brackenbury, Divisional Leaders for the Alaska Division, and guest host, Mike Ford, of KOOL 97.3 FM. There will be a call for donations after you hear how 
 
While we won’t be able to enjoy the singing of Jingle Bells and the traditional Golden Kettle competition at this year’s event, the need to raise funds is still great. Last year, we served almost 9,000 individuals at Christmas in Anchorage. This year, we anticipate 13,000 people coming to us for assistance. You can help support those in the most need by giving a gift now to help support The Salvation Army's critical social service programs.
